The first thing you will need to do is gather your materials. For this project, you will need:

Now that you have all of your materials, it’s time to start the project! The first step is to remove any existing driveway material, such as asphalt or gravel. Now it’s time to mix your concrete! Follow the instructions on the package of concrete mix. Once it is mixed, you can begin to pour it into the prepared area. Start at one end and work your way to the other, using a trowel to spread the concrete evenly. Be sure to smooth out any bumps or divots as you go.

Now that your concrete is poured, it’s time to let it set! Depending on the weather and temperature, this can take anywhere from 24-48 hours. Once the concrete has set, you can use a rubber float to smooth out the surface. Finally, sweep any excess debris from your new driveway and enjoy!
